About The Role

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Engineer to manage our increased workload to our growing network.

Location: Sheffield Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week Salary: Up to £16 per hour depending on experience

The Job

You will use the CCTV equipment to measure the heights and depths of the pipe, as well as to check for any damages that needs to be recorded i.e. debris in the pipe or grease build up. Initially the role will involve, you accessing the pipe via manhole covers to put the CCTV camera down the pipe with accuracy. You will then carry out majority of the work from your van which has been installed with the CCTV and computer system for you to carry out the work. You will be using a tablet to keep records of the work you are carrying out which involves crucial paperwork to be carried out as this needs to be reporting back to the clients you are carrying out the work on behalf of.

Key Skills Required

Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points. Ability to work in a 2 person team IT skills including Excel Attention to detail and accuracy OX19 Preferrable CSCS Card Preferrable

You’ll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
