Role Description: CCTV, Lining & Jetvac Operative
Location: York Type: Full-time, on-site role
This role involves full responsibility for CCTV drain surveys, pipe lining installations, Jetvac operations, and high-pressure water jetting to maintain and repair drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CCTV drainage survey equipment to inspect pipelines, accurately record findings, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Assist in planning and executing remedial drainage solutions based on survey data.
- Install and repair pipe lining systems, preparing sites, mixing materials, and ensuring compliance with technical standards.
- Operate Jetvac and high-pressure jetting equipment to clear blockages, clean drainage systems, and respond to emergency call-outs.
- Work as part of a small team, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain equipment care and carry out routine servicing where required.
- Engage professionally with customers on-site, providing clear updates and recommendations.
- Undertake Occasional off-hours work, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts, depending on operational demands.

Essential:
- Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) CCTV drainage survey equipment, recording data precisely.
- Practical hands-on skills in drainage, pipe lining, or construction maintenance, with attention to detail.
- Safe and efficient operation of Jetvac and high-pressure jetting equipment.
- Profound understanding of basic health and safety protocols, including working in confined spaces and around heavy machinery.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and engage courteously with customers.
- Ability to interpret written/verbal instructions under pressure.
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence (clean preferred) – experience driving commercial vehicles or vans is advantageous.
- Preferred: Baseline knowledge of drainage industry norms.
- Willingness to undertake additional training or certifications.
Great to Have:
- Previous experience in drainage, utilities, or construction (training provided if lacking).
Note: All candidates must affirm willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts unscheduled during weekends.
