CCTV Operator
CCTV Operator Manchester – Full-Time | Onsite
Shift Pattern
2 Days (7am–7pm), 2 Nights (7pm–7am), 4 Days Off
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CCTV Operator to join our Remote Video Response Centre team. In this high-pressure, security-focused role, you will monitor CCTV and alarm systems, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional support to both customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse CCTV footage and alarm activations
- Respond to remote video events and take appropriate action
- Handle inbound calls from customers and internal team members
- Record incidents accurately and update customer databases
- Escalate complaints, enquiries, or urgent incidents as required
- Maintain full customer confidentiality while adhering to company procedures

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service experience
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under stress
- Strong attention to detail and concentration
- Customer-centric mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)
- SIA CCTV License (preferred)
- IT knowledge or familiarity with monitoring systems
- Previous experience in security, monitoring, or customer service
