We are currently recruiting for a Public Space Surveillance Operator [CCTV] to work with our partners such as the Police, NCA, DWP and other investigatory bodies in keeping our communities safe and helping Police by monitoring of real time CCTV and directing Officers by radio to incidents and securing evidence.

Due to police vetting requirements, applicants must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 5 years.

All applicants applying to this role must hold a Full UK Driving License.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, reporting, and recording anything suspicious
  • Operating the cameras and equipment effectively, making sure the best evidential quality images are recorded
  • Writing reports or witness statements and attending court, to give evidence supporting the CCTV images
  • Confidently liaising with external and internal agencies such as DWP, National Crime Agency and other investigatory bodies

Requirements

  • Full training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence is essential.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to Metropolitan Police vetting to NPPV3/SC (High Level) standard.
  • Due to police vetting requirements, applicants must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
  • You will be joining a professional, supportive, and committed team.
