CCTV Service Engineer
What You Will Do
As a Field Technician for Sensormatic Solutions, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality on-site service and technical support across our UK & Ireland customer base. Reporting to the UK&I Field Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems, including CCTV and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS). You will ensure timely resolution of technical issues, support preventative maintenance programmes, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strict adherence to quality and Health & Safety standards in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Field Coverage: Sheffield, Hull, Nottingham (regular travel required)

How You Will Do It
- Deliver on-site service, maintenance, and repair across CCTV, EAS, and related technologies
- Diagnose and resolve faults across IP/analogue CCTV systems, NVRs, and EAS equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance visits to ensure system reliability and minimise downtime
- Install and upgrade security systems in line with company standards and customer requirements
- Record all service activity accurately within service management systems
- Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs and operational targets
- Provide professional customer support, offering guidance and resolving issues effectively
- Liaise with technical support teams and escalate complex issues where required
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and stock to ensure readiness for service delivery
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Support site surveys and provide feedback to internal teams
- Identify recurring faults and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a field-based service or installation role within electronic security or a technical environment
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems (IP/analogue, NVRs, VMS) and EAS technology
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of basic networking principles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance
- Proactive and professional approach to service delivery
- Full UK driving licence
