About The Role:

SHIFT PATTERN - Monday to Friday and working one in six weekends

OCS is seeking a CCTV Team Leader to oversee our CCTV Investigators and support the Crime & Investigations Department across 500 Morrisons stores and 1,000 convenience locations. You will manage daily CCTV operations, lead a high‑performing team, and work closely with police, store colleagues, and national stakeholders to ensure incidents are investigated, evidence is secured, and offenders are prosecuted.

The CCTV Team Leader is responsible for managing the CCTV Investigators. The CCTV team are responsible for monitoring and downloading footage from all 500 Morrisons sites alongside 1,000 convenience locations. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing the Crime & Investigations Departments central email address and liaising with police and store colleagues to ensure we prosecute the individuals targeting our clients locations.

The successful candidate will maintain strong customer and supplier relationships, collaborate with senior leaders, and contribute to a proactive, progressive and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership — Manage CCTV Investigators, ensuring goals, standards and performance outcomes are met.
  • Loss Prevention Support — Support the client’s Loss Prevention team with any LP matters or concerns.
  • CCTV Operations — Oversee CCTV processes for all supermarket and convenience locations.
  • Confidential Projects — Work with client leads on confidential projects and ensure compliant use of all systems.
  • Team Building — Support the Investigations Manager in developing a strong, productive team; line manage CCTV Investigators.
  • Intelligence Dissemination — Issue intelligence bulletins to frontline officers to support deter‑not‑detain activity.
  • CCTV Review & Downloading — Review and download CCTV for any matter under investigation.
  • Police Liaison — Provide police with requested CCTV, intelligence and evidence.
  • Central Inbox Management — Manage the Crime & Investigations Department central email inbox.
  • Internal Investigations — Support regional managers with internal investigations, ensuring sufficient evidence is supplied.
  • Control Room Collaboration — Work in partnership with the Control Room team when required.

Experience

  • Policing Knowledge — Extensive knowledge of policing and crime reduction.

  • Functional Support — Proactive in providing operational and investigative support.
  • Investigations Experience — Experience supporting or conducting investigations.
  • Technology & Software — Ability to use new technology and crime‑intelligence platforms.
  • Proactive Approach — Demonstrates a proactive, can‑do attitude.
  • Integrity — Strong personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Adaptability — Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Logistical & Innovative Thinking — Strong problem‑solving and innovative thinking skills.
  • H&S Awareness — Awareness of health & safety risk assessments.
  • CCTV & Intelligence Platforms — Strong understanding of CCTV systems and platforms such as Auror.
