CCTV Technical Specialist

The Role
We are looking for a CCTV Technical Specialist to join our centralised CCTV team. Reporting to the Group Head of CCTV, you will work within a highly skilled and collaborative team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of CCTV data captured by our site teams. If you’re tech-savvy, eager to learn, and enjoy problem-solving in a dynamic role, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
- Location: Manchester ( Eccles)
- Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
- Salary: up to £28,000 Depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse CCTV footage to identify defects, structural issues, and imperfections within pipes.
- Code footage according to the Sewer Condition Classification (SCC) system to ensure accurate reporting and classification of issues.
- Update and maintain records in Excel, ensuring the accurate tracking of work progress and completion.
- Upload and update survey results in Map16 and Wincan, ensuring all findings are accurately mapped and reported.
- Work closely with depot managers and teams to resolve any survey-specific issues and provide guidance on survey findings.
- Liaise with teams to clarify any ambiguities or queries about the work completed and ensure the highest quality of survey data.
Please note all training will be given on the above
About You
Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will have strong computing skills, previous data entry experience, comfortable using Microsoft packages (Word, outlook, teams, excel) as well as excellent communication skills.
