About the Team
The Client Due Diligence (CDD) practice is central to our Financial Crime team, collaborating with clients on onboarding, remediation, and compliance. As demand for these services grows, we’re bolstering leadership within CDD to set new quality standards for both clients and colleagues.
The Role: Senior Manager – CDD Onboarding Lead
As a leadership mentor in the Financial Crime & Compliance practice, you’ll steer CDD onboarding engagements, supervising a team of analysts. This role demands deep CDD/AML expertise, strong people leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing the CDD onboarding team, ensuring end-to-end reviews meet KYC/AML regulatory standards, with consistency and efficiency.
- Engaging as the primary contact for senior stakeholders and partners, fostering trust and providing insightful updates on progress, challenges, and risks.
- Mentoring a large team of analysts through structured feedback, coaching, and day-to-day support.
- Oversight of CDD governance, standards, and compliance frameworks to align with evolving regulations.
- Identifying escalation pathways for complex or high-risk cases (PPs, sanctions, adverse media flags, or entourage ownership structures), offering expertise to the Financial Crime & Compliance (FCC) team.
- Contributing to training and professional development by sharing technical knowledge and fostering team growth.
Requirements
Must-have experience: ✔ Proven senior-level leadership in CDD/KYC onboarding, preferable within financial or professional services. ✔ Experience managing a high-performing team of ~15+, stakeholders, and project timelines in a fast-paced, commerce environment. ✔ Hands-on regulatory expertise in KYC/AML frameworks, including sanctions screening, PEP checks, and adverse media monitoring.
Strong advantage: ✔ Experience in platform or system rollouts (CDD, case management tools, or operating models). ✔ Background in large-scale, high-volume CDD engagements, including corporate onboarding and complex structures. ✔ Fluent stakeholder communication to levels of Partner/Director, and relevant certifications (e.g. ICA, ACAMS, CISI).
