As a CDM/H&S Consultant, you’ll have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with industry leaders while driving safety standards. You’ll be supported by a professional team, encouraged to grow, and given the opportunity to lead projects that make a real impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver the role of Client CDM Advisor and Principal Designer Advisor on allocated projects.
  • Liaising with clients, Designers, and key project stakeholders and advising on key aspects of building designs to ensure CDM 2015 compliance. This will also include interfacing with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, Project Managers, Construction Site Management teams, Design Managers, the HSE, and Health & Safety Managers.
  • Regularly review the designs to ensure compliance and best practices throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Process applicable CDM compliance documentation including F10 submissions and Pre-Construction Information.
  • Competence / SKET assessments and advice
  • CPP / RAMS reviews and advice to clients/contractors.
  • Undertake site audits and inspections as instructed through appointments.
  • Prepare and Issue Health & Safety File upon project completion.
  • Ensure the maintenance of professional memberships and SKET through CPD programmes of professional bodies.
  • Participate in team meetings and workshops as appropriate.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction safety, preferably with a background in design or construction.
  • CMaPS and/or CIOSH qualifications (or working towards them).
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a range of professionals.
  • A knack for building relationships and making safety an integral part of every project.
