Position: Cell Biologist
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $40 - $60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 - 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments using mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques.
- Isolate and establish clonal cell lines while monitoring cellular phenotypes.
- Study cellular structure, organization, and functional mechanisms.
- Assess and document sources of experimental variability across model systems.
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols for reproducibility and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate biological insights into datasets.
- Communicate scientific findings through clear written and verbal reports.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Proficiency in transfection methods and clonal isolation.
- Strong understanding of experimental systems and biological variability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment.
