We are Anthony Nolan. We unite people and science – matching stem cell donors to those in need of transplants and treatments and growing our world-leading stem cell register, so everyone can find the lifesaving match they need.
Thanks to Shirley and Anthony Nolan, our register of almost a million potential donors, our cell and gene therapy research and our expertise in stem cell transplants, we currently help four patients a day in need of a transplant, giving more people another chance to live.

The centre is designed to provide an outstanding experience for donors and patients while ensuring the safe, timely delivery of high-quality cell products. Working closely with colleagues across the Operations and Patient Services Division, our Cell Collection Centre is an integral part of Anthony Nolan's end-to-end cell provision service.
As a Cell Collection Centre Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. You'll coordinate and manage the administrative processes that underpin donor and patient medical appointments, cell collection activity and stem cell laboratory workflows, including scheduling, communication and reporting.
You'll be the first person donors, patients and visitors meet when they arrive at the centre, making you instrumental in creating a welcoming, professional and reassuring experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your organisation, attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will help ensure every collection runs safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.
Essential Attributes
- Previous experience of working in an administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, work to strict timeframes and be fully accountable for your workload.
- Accuracy and proven attention to detail, along with the skill to learn and maintain new information in an evolving environment.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering great customer service.
- Understanding of how to handle confidential information.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience of working with CRM databases.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to listen, learn and improve within the role, learn from mistakes, and speak up when opportunities to improve are identified.
