Candidate Profile
As a Cellar Person, you will be able to organise stores, control goods and prevent loss through theft and spoilage and that all the stores are kept in a hygienic condition.
- You will be responsible for ensuring all stocked lines are kept at the set par levels, inspect the stores daily to ensure good stock rotation, hygiene and organisation and ordering of stock as necessary.
- You will work closely with the F&B cost controller for each month end inventory count and investigate significant discrepancies.
- You will also be responsible for all incoming goods being covered by a purchase order as well as a delivery note/invoice and that all goods are of the required quantity, standard and agreed price.
- Attendance at weekly events meetings to organise the weeks ahead.

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Good command of the English language and excellent communication skills
- Computer skills including MS Excel, MS Outlook is essential. Experience working with Procure Wizard, purchasing system is preferred.
- Self-motivated and good lone working discipline for some periods of the day.
- This role will involve manual handling (pushing, pulling, lifting and operating equipment) and heavy lifting will be required
- Proven track record within a similar role in a luxury environment
- Problem solving, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and good time management
- Able to adapt to ad hoc requests as per business needs
