Warehouse Operator – Full Time
Department: Warehouse Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Warehouse Coordinator/Manager Work Schedule: Varies
Position Summary
Responsible for utilizing a forklift for general warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, product movement, and rotation.
Essential Functions
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform (with or without reasonable accommodation) each essential function effectively:
- Loading & Unloading: Operate a forklift or perform hand loading/unloading of trucks
- Product Rotation: Move and organize products correctly based on date coding
- Inventory Validation: Cross-check Bolings (BOLs) against actual loads and report discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator
- Load Security: Ensure loads are properly wrapped (by machine or hand)
- Pallet Assembly: Build pallets accurately in accordance with loading documents
- Driver Compliance: Monitor adherence to safety policies by transport drivers
- Seal Verification: Verify load seals against the BOL
- Equipment Maintenance: Swap out electric batteries or propane tanks
- Cross-Warehouse Help: Assist in product movement between facilities
- Safety Compliance: Wear all assigned PPE and observe safety rules
- Training Compliance: Complete ongoing training (web-based, in-house) successfully (including quarterly mandatory training)

Education & Certifications
- Minimum: Equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Licensing: Forklift Certified (eligibility or existing certification mandatory)

Sensory & Equipment Requirements

- PPE: Wear vests, slip-resistant footwear, and gloves as required
Work Environment
