THE TEAM
You’ll join our Flight Operations Central Service team, a critical function that supports the smooth running of non-technical Flight Operations activity across the network. The team acts as a central hub for coordination, reporting, governance, and digital enablement, ensuring our systems, processes, and data are accurate, aligned, and effective.
THE ROLE
As a Central Service Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering, coordinating, and supporting a wide range of Flight Operations activities. You’ll be at the heart of operational effectiveness, ensuring systems, reporting, and processes run seamlessly while driving improvements through automation and digital enablement.

- Support delivery of non-technical Flight Operations initiatives, improvement activity, and change programmes
- Coordinate actions, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring activities are tracked and completed on time
- Provide operational, administrative, and digital support to Flight Operations leadership and wider teams
- Prepare and maintain trackers, reports, KPI data, dashboards, and governance inputs
- Support Operational Readiness Reports and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates
- Act as a local expert in Flight Operations systems, driving best practice and adoption
- Apply automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Support stakeholder coordination across the network, including union data and briefing materials
- Manage meeting coordination including agendas, minutes, action tracking, and follow-ups
- Assist with travel logistics, expenses, and operational administration
- Support base openings, refurbishments, and operational trials through structured coordination and system use
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and automation
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and confident working in a dynamic operational environment, with a passion for improving how things are done.
- Strong coordination and delivery capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with data, reporting, and systems, with a strong focus on accuracy and governance
- Advanced IT and digital skills, with hands-on experience in automation and process improvement using Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across a variety of audiences
- Experience working with unions or works councils is beneficial
- Commercial awareness with a focus on cost efficiency
- Ability to quickly learn and optimise new systems and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and escalate where required
- A collaborative approach, with the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team

PRACTICALITIES
This is a full-time role based in Luton, working 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working, with the expectation that 60% of your time each month will be spent in the office. Travel across our network will be required as needed.
