Centre Operations Assistant – Part Time
Our client is a flexible workspace provider based in South London and Is looking for a friendly and proactive Centre Operations Assistant to join their on-site team part time, working 9am–1pm (Monday–Friday).
Our client operates a professional flexible workspace centre, providing office space, meeting rooms, and workspace solutions to businesses. They prioritise service excellence, compliance, safety, and customer experience.
The Role
Reporting to the Centre Operations Manager, you’ll be the friendly face of the centre who balances customer service, building operations, health and safety compliance, and commercial responsibilities.
Daily Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Welcome Welcoming customers and visitors with consistently high standards of service.

Pre-Event & Booking Support Conducting pre-event inspections of meeting rooms and show offices ahead of viewings and bookings.

Health and Safety Compliance Managing compliance through contractor oversight, iAuditor checks, incident reporting, and RIDDOR compliance.

Customer Relations & Upselling Supporting customer move-ins and building relationships to identify upselling opportunities.

Compliance & Administration Ensuring customer agreements and documentation are accurate and compliant with GDPR and AML requirements. Handling general administration and coordinating planned works with contractors.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven customer service experience in a face-to-face environment (co-working, flexible offices, or serviced workspaces strongly advantageous).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently with initiative.
- Outstanding communication skills – clear, confident, and problem-solving with a can-do attitude.

Desirable
- Knowledge of health and safety processes or compliance administration.
- Experience in a workspace, facilities, hospitality, or property-related environment.
