Centre Principal
Centre Principal – Porsche Centre Reading
About the Role
The Centre Principal is responsible for developing Porsche Centre Reading in line with the Porsche Retail Group’s strategic plan, ensuring its success in delivering a world-class customer experience through strategic leadership, team management, and operational oversight to drive showroom performance.
Responsibilities
- Appointment as a Certified Individual under the Senior Managers Certification Regime, with inclusion in the FCA Directory.
- Delivery of Centre business targets across:
- Sales
- Aftersales
- Finance
- Insurance
- Profitability
- Customer satisfaction
- Promotion of a customer-centric culture throughout the Centre.
- Leadership of a high-performing team, with a focus on:
- Development
- Engagement
- Retention
- Maintenance of rigorous control, risk management, and ethical compliance across all business areas.
- Ownership and delivery of the Strategy Plan for Porsche Centre Reading.
- Achievement of agreed business objectives and budgeted targets.
- Accountability for customer satisfaction, loyalty, and overall Centre success.
- Stewardship of positive cultural development within the Centre.
- Identification of improvement opportunities across all business functions and within Porsche Retail Group.
- Collaboration with PCGB (Porsche Cars GB) and key stakeholders to maximise business opportunities.
- Oversight of consistent performance management and continuous improvement.
- Ongoing review and optimisation of processes to drive efficiency and cost improvements.
- Coaching and development of the management team to maximise capability and effectiveness.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven senior management or dealership leadership experience, specifically within a premium or luxury environment.
- Extensive background in working with a luxury or prestige automotive brand.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Meet commercial targets.
- Shape effective marketing strategies.
- Deep understanding of high-net-worth customer expectations and behaviours.
- Strong capability to:
- Lead, motivate, and manage high-performing sales and service teams.
- Build a collaborative, results-driven culture.
- Resolve conflict and develop employees effectively.
Desirable Qualifications
- Expertise in luxury brand positioning and bespoke customer experience design.
- Proven negotiation skills for high-value transactions with affluent clients.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and long-term client retention strategies.
- Strong understanding of:
- Showroom operations
- Inventory management
- Aftersales processes
