Chief Executive Officer – Broadway Lodge
Location: Weston-super-Mare
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + benefits

Our client is Broadway Lodge, a well-established and highly respected addiction recovery charity with over 50 years’ experience supporting individuals affected by addiction. Operating a residential treatment model, Broadway Lodge provides detoxification, rehabilitation, and ongoing recovery support within a compassionate, person-centred and therapeutic environment. The organisation is CQC regulated and currently rated “Good”, with a clear ambition to achieve an “Outstanding” rating.
They are now seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next chapter. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining financial sustainability, and supporting a positive, values-led culture. The role requires oversight across clinical operations, governance, external partnerships, and organisational development, whilst positioning the charity within a changing healthcare landscape.

For this role we are keen to hear from experienced senior leaders, ideally from healthcare, social care or the charity sector. You will bring a strong track record in strategic leadership, financial management and organisational development, alongside an understanding of governance, safeguarding and regulated environments. A collaborative, emotionally intelligent leadership style is essential, as is the ability to inspire teams, build partnerships and lead through change. Experience or understanding of addiction, recovery pathways or 12-step models would be advantageous, or a willingness to develop this knowledge quickly.
