About the Role

This role is responsible for the provision of high-quality administrative support and customer service across the organisation, greeting visitors to the business and coordinating front-desk activities including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction and supervision of those in the workplace the Trainee will be required to:

  • Promptly attend to incoming telephone calls and action/redirect as required.
  • Warmly welcome all visitors and ensure their needs are met on entry.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support financial processes and undertake financial duties as directed.
  • Maintaining reception area ensuring area is tidy and presentable, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Undertake general office duties as directed/required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in administration.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Understanding the importance of quality customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional, pleasant, and friendly working manner.
  • A strong interest in engaging with people.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and a high degree of flexibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
