About the Role
This role is responsible for the provision of high-quality administrative support and customer service across the organisation, greeting visitors to the business and coordinating front-desk activities including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction and supervision of those in the workplace the Trainee will be required to:
- Promptly attend to incoming telephone calls and action/redirect as required.
- Warmly welcome all visitors and ensure their needs are met on entry.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail.
- Support financial processes and undertake financial duties as directed.
- Maintaining reception area ensuring area is tidy and presentable, creating a welcoming environment.
- Undertake general office duties as directed/required.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in administration.
- Current National Police Check.
- Understanding the importance of quality customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional, pleasant, and friendly working manner.
- A strong interest in engaging with people.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and a high degree of flexibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation
Paid under the Local Government Award & The National Training Wage.
