Job Summary
BASEC, part of the Kiwa UK Group, is looking for a Certification Executive to join our dynamic Certification team. This hybrid role, based in Milton Keynes, plays a key role in coordinating audit and certification activities, ensuring an exceptional service for both internal and external customers.
About The Role
- Shedule customer audit visits, including arranging flights, visas, accommodation, and transport as appropriate.
- Manage customer audit records through all stages of set up, review and certification process.
- Prepare and issue a variety of certificates, while maintaining accurate records.
- Manage testing sample selections and liaise with customers and laboratories to ensure timely and compliant processes.
- Issue passed routine test reports to customers.
- Maintain certification statuses (standby, suspension, withdrawal) and customer concession requests.
- Obtain customer annual production quantities.
- Maintain effective communication with auditors to optimise scheduling, travel, and overall service delivery.
- Produce reports and other material as directed by the line manager.
- Support accreditation and regulatory body audits.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience/knowledge of Management Systems Certification and/or Product Testing is desirable.
- Experience/knowledge of ISO 17021 and/or ISO 17065 accreditation standards is desirable.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve set targets.
- Relevant experience of balancing the needs of customers, shareholders and colleagues.
- Proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.

What can you expect from us in return?
- £32,000 per annum
- Generous Annual Leave – Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, hybrid working pattern (2 days in the office, 3 days at home)
