CFO Advisory Lead - Contract Position
We are excited to offer this unique opportunity on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading entity in the Insurance industry. Currently, they are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join their Finance division as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Advisory Lead on a contract basis. This contract is an initial 9-months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the Head of Finance Advisory and other top management members.
- Lead initiatives to enhance financial transparency and control throughout the company.
- Develop framework and methodologies for non-Sarbanes-Oxley Act financial controls.
- Produce and review syndicate reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, advise on forecasts, and mitigate risks.
- Refreshing accounting policies and addressing accounting issues with aim of product result of creating and presenting technical paper to the board and execs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Extensive experience in financial controls and reporting within the Insurance sector.
- Lloyds experience and abreast with technical accounting and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently and drive projects to completion effectively.
- Understanding of the financial regulations affecting the Insurance industry.
- Prior Consultancy experience, including CFO Advisory is preferred.
