CFO | Fast Growth - Hyper-Growth B2B SaaS Scale-Up | London (Hybrid)
The Client:
Harmonic is excited to be working with a standout Hyper-Growth B2B SaaS Scale-Up business based in London. The company has built a strong and growing customer base, scaled efficiently and demonstrated genuine product-market fit well ahead of where most businesses are at this stage. Following a significant fundraise from a leading growth equity investor, the business is now focused on accelerating its go-to-market, expanding internationally and putting the right operational foundations in place to support the next phase of growth.
With momentum building and the team growing, they are now looking to bring in a Finance Director as a key leadership hire.
The Role:
The CFO will report directly to the CEO and play a central role in how the business is run and how it grows. This is not a back-office role. The successful candidate will be a genuine thought partner to the CEO, bringing commercial rigour and strategic clarity to the decisions that matter most: how capital is deployed, what the path to the next funding round looks like, and how the business scales without losing financial discipline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
