CFO PE-Backed B2B Consultancy Business

Marks Sattin Executive Search Opportunity

Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-backed B2B Consultancy Business in the search for a dynamic and commercially minded CFO to partner with the CEO in delivering the next phase of growth. This is a highly strategic and operational leadership role, with responsibility for supporting scale, driving international expansion, and helping position the business for a successful future exit.

The CFO will act as a true partner to the CEO and Board, playing a central role in shaping commercial strategy, enhancing operational performance, and building the financial infrastructure required to support a high-growth international business. With expansion plans across Europe, the US, and the Middle East, the successful candidate will bring both strategic capability and operational depth.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of growth, partnering closely with the CEO to drive commercial performance, scale operations internationally, and support the business through its next phase of value creation. The CFO will play a key role in improving visibility around performance, enhancing decision-making through high-quality MI and KPI reporting, and ensuring the business has the financial infrastructure, operational rigour, and strategic insight required to support continued expansion and a future exit.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
