Zanda Recruitment Opportunity
Zanda is an executive search partner working exclusively with ambitious, founder-led businesses as they look to scale with the right talent. We partner with founders, CEOs and leadership teams to deliver senior appointments that make a genuine difference.
About the Role
Zanda is partnering with a high-growth payments fintech business seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join at a transformational stage of its journey. This is a rare opportunity to step into a commercially critical leadership role within a profitable, founder-led payments platform operating across multiple international and emerging markets. The business is preparing for a significant institutional fundraising process and evaluating strategic M&A opportunities.
Initially appointed on an interim basis, the intention is to transition into a permanent CFO position for the right individual.
Reporting directly to the Founders, you will take full ownership of the finance function, build the infrastructure required for the next stage of scale, and act as a key strategic partner across fundraising, expansion and corporate development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
