About the Role
As a CFS Invoicing Administrator, you’ll ensure smooth financial operations by managing customer accounts and invoicing processes. Key aspects of the role include:
- Overseeing customer ledgers within assigned areas
- Monitoring account performance using business intelligence (BI) reporting
- Processing high volumes of sales invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Resolving customer and invoice queries professionally and efficiently
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Universal Fleet Services, Lodge Tyre Fleet Services, and McConechy’s Commercial Fleet Services
This is a dynamic and diverse role that supports colleagues through various administrative and operational activities. You’ll:
- Respond to evolving priorities and unexpected tasks
- Act as an ambassador for Halfords CFS Values
- Contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused, and unified environment

Shift Pattern
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 9:00 am–5:00 pm
- Occasional Saturday shifts required
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Ledger Management
- Maintain accurate records and monitor account performance via BI tools.
- Invoice Processing & Validation
- Process invoices on time while ensuring all supporting documentation is verified.
- Cross-check delivery advice notes against customer orders.
- Customer Service & Support
- Resolve queries via phone and email, delivering exceptional service.
- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and distribute customer statements and financial reports.
- Provide insights to support business performance.
- Operational Support
- Assist depot colleagues with administrative tasks, IT, and system management.
- Flexibility & Initiative
- Adapt to ad-hoc tasks, challenges, and management requests.
- Drive a customer-centric culture aligned with Halfords CFS Values.
About You
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

Work Arrangement
- Training period: Full-time onsite at Stafford Support Centre.
- Post-training: Flexibility to work 2 days from home per week.
