Help Shape the Future for Babies and Families
Every baby’s future is shaped by their earliest relationships.
As Chair of OXPIP, you will help ensure more babies have the opportunity to grow up feeling safe, loved and able to thrive.
For more than 25 years, OXPIP has been transforming the lives of babies and families through specialist parent-infant psychotherapy. We are a recognised centre of excellence in our field, and alongside our clinical services, we train professionals, influence policy and work in partnership with others to improve infant mental health across Oxfordshire and beyond.
We are now looking for an exceptional Chair of the Board of Trustees to lead us through an exciting new chapter, building on our recent growth and our solid financial base. Areas of focus include expanding our training offer, diversifying our income streams and developing our workforce.
This is an opportunity to work alongside an ambitious Board and experienced Chief Executive to shape the future of one of the UK’s leading parent-infant relationship charities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
