From humble beginnings in 2012 MTB Beds now provides some of the most exciting Downhill and Enduro holidays available anywhere in the World. From the high Alpine peaks of Morzine to the dusty, technical single track of Finale Ligure there is something for everyone.
We are looking for chef and host couples to run our industry renowned Riders Week Chalets in Morzine.
You should both be experienced in customer facing roles, be presentable, personable, always smiling and excited by the Morzine summer, especially mountain biking. At least the host part of the team will be a keen mountain biker.
Both reporting to the Resort Manager, the host needs to have a strong background in environments we would consider to be valuable, these include customer facing, time sensitive roles that have required you to think for yourself and been under pressure to deliver.
The chef should be absolutely motivated by cooking outstanding plates of food, we're not interested in chalet cooks who want to phone in a bolognese. We offer classic dishes cooked with love and care, simplicity and correct cooking is key for us. Using high-quality ingredients we expect a great breakfast 5 days a week and a memorable two-course dinner 5 nights a week.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
