Change and Release Manager

The Change Manager runs the day‑to‑day governance engine across the full change lifecycle, ensuring portfolio, delivery, change and release governance operate as a single, coherent system across CTB, RTB and BAU change.

The role is responsible for governance execution, not delivery management.

What you’ll be doing

  • Operate the end to end change lifecycle across CTB, RTB and BAU, applying proportionate governance based on risk and impact.
  • Coordinate governance forums including IT Committee, IT ExCo, RRB and TCAB.
  • Prepare governance packs, track decisions and ensure follow up actions are closed.
  • Maintain portfolio level transparency, producing accurate, decision ready reporting on status, risk, dependencies, cost and benefits.
  • Execute Change & Release governance, including forward planning, conflict management and production readiness controls.
  • Enforce governance standards and mandatory artefacts, managing exceptions and breaches.
  • Identify and surface systemic risk, trends and hotspots across the change portfolio.

Change & Release Governance Oversight

  • Hold accountability for Change & Release governance as part of the wider lifecycle.
  • Ensure production readiness governance is embedded, not a late‑stage control.

Continuous Improvement & Audit

  • Drive ongoing improvement in governance maturity, simplicity and effectiveness.
  • Act as accountability holder for audit findings and remediation actions relating to change governance.

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track success/failure rates, volume, service impact, release cadence, and change “hot spots.”
  • Highlight systemic trends, recurring weak points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Report on all monthly/quarterly/annual volumetrics, trends, KI’s.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
