Change Communications & Engagement Manager
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Product & Experience | Type: Permanent
Shape transformation programmes through strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and people-focused change delivery.
The Role
We are seeking a Change Communications & Engagement Manager to play a key role in delivering strategic transformation initiatives across complex client environments. This role is heavily focused on the change management, helping organisations navigate change through clear messaging, stakeholder engagement, training and effective adoption strategies.
You will partner with consulting teams, senior stakeholders, and programme leaders to design and execute communication and engagement approaches that drive awareness, readiness, and behavioural change. The role will also support clients through emerging technology and AI-enabled transformation programmes, requiring the ability to communicate complex change impacts in a clear, engaging, and people-focused way. The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting experience, exceptional communication skills, and experience training design and supporting AI implementation or digital transformation initiatives. Commercial awareness and experience contributing to business growth activities would also be advantageous.
This role will sit in our Scotland office, with a need to potentially work in either Glasgow or Edinburgh depending on client expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead communication and engagement workstreams across transformation and AI-enabled change programmes, ensuring stakeholders remain informed, aligned, and engaged throughout delivery.
- Develop and execute strategic adoption plans, leadership messaging, employee engagement campaigns, and change narratives tailored to multiple audiences.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities including workshops, leadership briefings, town halls, and feedback sessions to support successful adoption and business readiness.
- Partner with consulting and delivery teams to assess organisational impacts, identify change risks, and implement communication strategies that improve adoption outcomes.
- Support client relationship development by contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and broader commercial or business development activities where appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
