My leading client is looking for a Change /Communications Manager to support a Cyber Risk Programme comprising multiple technical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, communications planning, and adoption activities to ensure successful delivery and uptake of programme outcomes across the organisation.
This role requires an individual who can confidently challenge assumptions, influence senior stakeholders, and develop targeted communication and engagement strategies that support business readiness while minimising disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct discovery activities to understand business impacts, stakeholder needs, and change requirements.
- Perform stakeholder mapping and audience segmentation across business and technical communities.
- Complete change impact assessments to identify organisational, process, and behavioural impacts.
- Develop and execute targeted engagement strategies aligned to stakeholder needs and programme objectives.
- Facilitate workshops with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and business stakeholders to gather requirements and shape change activities.
- Challenge assumptions regarding organisation-wide communications and advocate for more targeted engagement approaches where appropriate.

Communications & Adoption
- Develop comprehensive communication plans that support programme milestones and business readiness.
- Create compelling communication strategies and core narratives that clearly articulate the purpose, benefits, impacts, and required actions associated with change initiatives.
- Determine the most effective communication channels and approaches, balancing broad organisational communications with targeted stakeholder engagement.
- Support adoption activities that drive awareness, understanding, and behavioural change.
Programme Governance & Reporting
- Maintain clear action tracking and ownership across change and communications workstreams.
- Provide governance reporting, status updates, and risk visibility to programme leadership.
- Apply risk-based prioritisation to focus efforts on the highest-impact change activities.
- Monitor and escalate change-related risks, dependencies, and issues as appropriate.
Cyber / CRM and Technical Change Support
- Support multiple concurrent technical projects within a Cyber Risk Programme / CRM Programme
- Develop an understanding of cyber security, data protection, information security, and technology-driven change initiatives.
- Ensure communications and engagement activities appropriately reflect data security and cyber risk considerations.

Essential
- Significant experience in Change Management and Communications roles within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong discovery, stakeholder engagement, and challenge skills.
- Proven experience conducting stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation, and change impact assessments.
- Expertise in communication planning, message development, and creating compelling change narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to determine when organisation-wide communications are appropriate versus targeted engagement approaches.
- Experience facilitating workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong governance, action tracking, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously within a complex programme environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively at all levels.
