The Opportunity
Change Delivery is a global function that works with the Board and executive management to provide full research and development to support the advice and delivery of critical initiatives. The International portfolio includes a wide range of regions and types of initiatives, such as:
- Product launches
- New distribution channels
- Setting up new functions or teams
- Acquisitions
- Operational efficiency programmes
Working as part of a small team, the Project Manager will be responsible for supporting strategic priorities by implementing business and technical solutions, within agreed timescales and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects that support International strategic objectives
- Ensure business benefits are delivered in line with specified tolerances for time, cost, quality, and risk
- Manage, report, and present progress; business engagement of project benefits from start-up to closure and benefits realisation
- Analyse project proposals to determine approach, resource requirements, and limitations
- Support business case development and tracking throughout delivery; supervise overall project planning and supervisory responsibilities, including stage and exception plans
- Mobilise and motivate the project team to deliver effectively and contribute to success
- Report project risks, including the development of contingency plans
- Supervise and report on overall progress, resourcing, and budget; initiate corrective action where vital
- Maintain project governance, change control, and configuration management
- Stay aware of potential dependencies with other projects and their impact
- Identify and acquire support and advice required for project management, planning, and control
- Conduct lessons learned to review implementation approaches and management; prepare follow-on action recommendations
- Work with IT stakeholders to ensure products are delivered to technical standards
- Partner with teams to ensure a smooth transition to business as usual; ensure benefits are owned and measured

Requirements
Must-haves
- Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management certification
- Proven understanding of Microsoft (MS) applications and project management tools for planning, tracking, and analysing project plans, data, and management information (MI)
- Experience of working in project management and driving business outcomes
- Strong capability in project financial management and presentation skills
- Previous experience in change management or business improvement
- Close attention to detail in planning and execution
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology (desirable)
- Experience in vendor contract negotiation and management (desirable)
