Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week London

Length of Project: 6 weeks

Contract Type: Inside IR35

Summary

Do you have experience of providing governance process improvement expertise on a business process review focused on streamlining change approval and governance arrangements?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client in the transport sector in reviewing existing governance and change approval processes and recommending a more efficient and pragmatic operating approach. The objective is to reduce unnecessary approvals while maintaining appropriate governance and business controls.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • Expertise in governance frameworks and approval processes
  • Strong understanding of change governance and decision-making structures
  • Experience assessing approval forums and chains of command
  • Ability to distinguish mandatory governance controls from unnecessary approvals

Key Services

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

  • Reviewing existing governance and change approval processes
  • Assessing current approval forums and decision-making arrangements
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline governance while maintaining appropriate controls
  • Producing practical recommendations for an improved governance approach
  • Preparing a presentation and/or written recommendations to communicate findings

Mandatory Requirements

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience reviewing and improving governance processes
  • Transport industry experience
  • Expertise in organisational approval structures and governance controls
  • Ability to produce clear, practical recommendations
  • Stakeholder engagement experience across business functions
