Change Lead, M&A People Team

Role: Change Lead, M&A People Team

Purpose

We're looking for an experienced Change Lead within the M&A People Team to drive successful integration of acquisitions for our rapidly expanding business. As a leading, private equity-backed insurance broker, organic growth and strategic acquisitions are central to our strategy.

This role will focus on the people aspects of mergers and acquisitions—centring colleagues, leadership, and culture throughout every integration journey. Responsibilities include partnering with deal teams, leading consultation, cultural alignment, and ensuring smooth transitions.

This isn’t merely a delivery role; you’ll need the experience, credibility, and influence to:

  • Challenge senior leaders constructively
  • Build trust with acquired businesses and their leadership teams
  • Guide integrations with a sharp focus on people, culture, and long-term success

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with acquisition & integration teams from deal inception through to business-as-usual transition.
  • Risk & Impact Assessment: Analyse people risks, organisational impacts, and cultural considerations in due diligence and planning.
  • ** integration Planning**: Develop practical, scalable transition strategies pre- and post-completion.
  • Employee Consultation: Lead legally compliant engagement processes in partnership with People & Legal teams.
  • Culture Integration: Uphold acquired business strengths while embedding our values, culture, and ways of working.
  • Retention & Readiness Tracking: Monitor engagement, integration health, and recommend targeted interventions.
  • Beriefing & Strategic Guidance: Provide insights on people-related risks/opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Accountability: Present progress, readiness, and integration outcomes to governance forums.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
