Change Management Lead

Dunnhumby – Change Management Lead (Temporary Early Assignment)

About the Role

Dunnhumby, the global leader in Customer Data Science, is partnering with Tesco UK to embed large-scale change programmes across Price, Promotion, Personalisation, and Range. We’re looking for a Change Management Lead—a pivotal role within our Retail Consulting function—to shape Tesco’s transformational strategy and drive insight-led decision-making.

This is a permanent, hybrid role based in our Hammersmith office.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver change management roadmaps and plans across multiple business areas and transformation programmes
  • Apply change management methodologies to guide stakeholders through the full change lifecycle, ensuring efficient and effective adoption
  • Assess business readiness and evaluate the scale and impact of change, implementing strategies to maximise adoption and minimise risk
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across dunnhumby and Tesco teams, including Commercial, Capability, Product, and Technology stakeholders
  • Understand end-user needs, objectives, and pain points to ensure initiatives are relevant, practical, and adopted at scale
  • Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to land change effectively, leveraging expertise and networks
  • Partner with Tesco Product, Commercial, and Capability teams to support the wider transformation vision
  • Balance detailed workstream knowledge with programme-wide oversight, ensuring consistency and clarity across complex initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate subject matter experts to deliver detailed outputs while simplifying messaging for varied stakeholder audiences
  • Champion structured, insight-led ways of working to foster long-term behavioural change and measurable business impact

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong Change Management experience in a consulting or retail environment, preferably in a data-driven context
  • Proven track record of delivering cross-functional change programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with influence at all levels
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Commercial
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, introducing structure and clarity to complex challenges
  • Agile mindset, capable of managing risk and adapting to changing priorities
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with dunnhumby tools or methodologies is advantageous
