Change Manager

Change Manager (Transformation team)

SpaMedica & Freedom Vision are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation — and we’re looking for an exceptional Change Manager to help shape our future.

As one of the UK’s leading providers of ophthalmology services, we’re committed to delivering outstanding patient care and continuously improving how we work. This is a key role within our Transformation team, responsible for leading, planning and executing change initiatives across the organisation.

About the Role

Champion the people side of change — ensuring our teams adopt and embed new ways of working with clarity and confidence. Work closely with senior leaders, project teams and stakeholders to drive engagement, reduce resistance and ensure measurable business outcomes.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

Change Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement structured change management plans
  • Champion organisational change, communicating the purpose behind transformation
  • Embed change management into project delivery across the company

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Design communication plans to foster clarity, buy-in and understanding
  • Positively manage resistance and influence constructive change

Impact Assessment, Risk & Improvements

  • Conduct change impact assessments
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Track progress, measure change adoption and refine approaches

Training & Capability Building

  • Support and coordinate training and skills development
  • Coach leaders and managers through change

Collaboration & Culture

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Lead and support networks of change champions
  • Promote a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading change within transformation programmes
  • Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Prince2 or Agile
  • Analytical & problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Asana)
  • Emotionally intelligent, resilient and confident managing ambiguity
  • Healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
  • Ideally holds a degree in Business, Management, Organisational Development or a related field
