Our Practice Solutions team leads the Firm’s innovation initiatives, supporting our lawyers in client delivery excellence. The team has deep expertise in working with established and emerging technologies, data analytics and data science, knowledge solutions and process re-engineering. The Practice Solutions team works with our lawyers to identify innovative solutions to support our clients. Through fostering a Firmwide culture of innovation, we encourage our lawyers to think creatively about how to deliver the best value to our clients and we ensure that White & Case remains at the forefront of advancements in the legal industry.
Change Manager, Practice Solutions
Location: London, UK
Are you ready to make your mark as part of the Change & Adoption Team in our market leading Practice Solutions function?
The Change Manager will lead the planning and delivery of change initiatives for innovation, AI and legal technology initiatives at White & Case. The role covers all aspects of change management, including change design and planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, business engagement, training, metrics tracking and adoption. The Change Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and uptake of innovation, AI and legal technology initiatives within the firm.
We are keen to meet people who work most comfortably in a programme environment, and can design change projects with defined tasks, activities and milestones. Our Change approach and interventions are informed by data and we expect our change managers to be comfortable reading and interpreting data presented in spreadsheets and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Planning and Design: Design and develop change plans to accelerate adoption of legal technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans, to help build and build strong relationships with leadership stakeholders.
- Communications: Create and deliver clear multi-format communications to support change initiatives, rollouts and the AI roadmap.
- Training and Engagement: Identify training needs, develop training plans and multi-format / digital content to support legal technology adoption.
- Adoption: Using available data, design and rollout adoption plans for core technologies, responding to user behaviour by tailoring plans to suit user needs.
- Collaborate: with internal teams (project managers, internal comms, learning) to deliver successful outcomes that are aligned with existing channels and formats.

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in change management delivery in professional services in a programme environment.
Preferred skills and experience
- Big 4 or other consultancy background
- An interest or qualification in behavioural science.
- Solid understanding of AI platforms and legal technologies
- PROSCI or APMG change qualification
- PRINCE or Agile or similar project manager qualification.
- Project management qualification and experience.

Location
This role is based in our London office.
Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 4 days (Monday - Thursday) in the office per week.
