Job Title: Change Programme Organisational Development Lead
Location: Barking and Dagenham, Greater London
Contract Type: 2 year FTC
Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? Our client, a forward-thinking organisation, is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Change Programme Organisational Development Lead to drive transformative change across their services!

In this pivotal position, you'll be at the forefront of delivering a comprehensive change approach that prioritises resident-centred, preventative, and place-based services. Your expertise will help build a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, empowering leadership and enhancing organisational capacity for a digital future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Support the design and implementation of an Organisational Development (OD) strategy that aligns with the change programme, utilising diagnostic insights to identify key interventions and measures of impact.
- Change Leadership: Act as a strategic resource in OD, ensuring that leadership development and change interventions are aligned with the Council's core shifts: from Reaction to Prevention, Complexity to Simplicity, and Surviving to Thriving.
- Culture Shift: Drive a transformation from siloed service delivery to integrated, community-led models, fostering proactive engagement and collaboration.
- Capability Building: Establish a core curriculum to enhance digital fluency and adaptive leadership skills among staff, equipping them to lead and sustain change.
- Engagement and Resilience: Embed employee voice and engagement as key drivers for change, designing leadership development programmes that emphasise strategic, collaborative, and data-informed leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop systems for skills tracking, benefits realisation, and ongoing enhancement of OD programmes.

Who You Are:
We are looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in OD, HR, or a related field who possesses:
- A degree or equivalent experience in OD, HR, or Psychology.
- Proven track record in leading OD strategies within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Expertise in designing and delivering leadership development and employee engagement programmes.
- Familiarity with place-based working and experience in driving cultural change.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
