Change Project Manager
Workforce Change Professional
Salary: Up to £685 Per Day DOE Locations: TBD Hybrid: 1 day in the office
We are looking for an experienced Workforce Change professional with a proven track record of delivering complex organisational transformation programmes. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across a fast-paced, global environment.
About the Role
The Workforce Change & Restructuring function manages global organisational change and restructuring programmes across multiple employing entities. The team supports the design and delivery of workforce transformation initiatives that enable the business to:
- Achieve its strategic objectives
- Optimise organisational effectiveness
- Manage costs
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
The function delivers complex people change programmes across multiple jurisdictions while providing a consistent, efficient, and commercially focused service.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will:
- Support the delivery of workforce change and restructuring programmes across a global organisation
- Lead and support a variety of organisational change initiatives
- Work closely with HR, Employee Relations, business leaders, and specialist teams to ensure successful programme delivery

Projects may include:
- Organisational restructuring
- Large-scale workforce change programmes
- Employee consultation exercises
- Outsourcing and insourcing initiatives
- TUPE and employee transfer projects
- New site set-up and expansion activities
- Cross-border and multi-entity transformation programmes
Key Responsibilities
The role involves taking ownership of the HR workstream across assigned change programmes, including:
- Project initiation and planning
- Due diligence activities
- Workforce consultation processes
- Programme implementation
- Stakeholder communications and communication planning
- Governance, risk management, and compliance
- Collaborating with Centres of Excellence and specialist HR teams
- Partnering with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations specialists, and business stakeholders across multiple locations
Key Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience delivering workforce change and organisational restructuring programmes
- Experience operating within unionised environments and working closely with trade unions and employee representatives
- Experience leading union and/or works council consultations
- Strong background in employee consultation, redundancy, and organisational change processes
- Experience managing TUPE transfers and employee transfer programmes
- Proven ability to lead multiple large-scale change programmes simultaneously
- Experience delivering international or multi-country transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and employee relations practices
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and change management skills
- Experience working within large, complex, matrix organisations
- Strong awareness of cultural and geographical considerations when delivering global programmes
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large data sets
