Change Systems & MI Lead

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (8 months)

Location: Edinburgh, Birmingham or Telford (Hybrid working model, 2 days per week in office)

Flexible working: Open to part-time, job-share, and other types of flexibility

Closing date: 30/07/26

Salary and benefits: £58,000 to £70,000 plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and more

The Role

As Change Systems & MI Lead, you will be responsible for the oversight, development and continuous improvement of key enterprise change systems, associated data and management information. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and suppliers, ensuring systems, reporting and governance processes remain effective, supported and aligned to organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, backlog and prioritisation process for SmartCore and enterprise change reporting, balancing demand, capacity, risk and organisational value whilst ensuring capabilities evolve in line with organisational priorities and governance requirements.
  • Accountable for the ongoing operation and integrity of enterprise change systems, ensuring platforms remain sustainable, controlled and fit for purpose.
  • Own the control and assurance environment for enterprise change systems and reporting, ensuring compliance with Group standards and confidence in data integrity.
  • Own the development and continuous improvement of enterprise change MI, partnering with stakeholders to ensure reporting, data and processes support effective governance, oversight and decision-making.
  • Drive improvements in reporting capability, data quality, automation and operational efficiency.
  • Work with governance, risk and change stakeholders to embed controls and improve enterprise change processes through system enablement and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise change systems and reporting, supporting governance forums and senior stakeholders on priorities, risks and opportunities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance to support system development, maintenance and organisational objectives.
  • Lead and develop the team responsible for enterprise change systems and reporting, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience owning and developing enterprise-wide business systems.
  • Strong understanding of change governance, portfolio management and change delivery frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing system roadmaps, backlogs, releases and competing organisational priorities.
  • Experience developing and governing management information, with responsibility for data quality, reporting integrity, risk, controls and assurance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence delivery teams, governance forums, senior leaders and suppliers.
