Channel Account Manager
Account Manager (Energy Storage/Installer & Retail Sales) – UK
This critical role requires an experienced Account Manager to grow and manage Sigenergy’s customer base of installers and retailers in the UK. You’ll blend structured account management with proactive sales execution to strengthen Sigenergy's market position at the channel and installer level.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer demand in the energy storage sector.
- Develop and implement personalised account plans for installers and retailers, including:
- Customer segmentation
- Growth strategies
- Regular follow-ups
- Engage proactively with partners through:
- On-site visits
- In-person meetings
- Product demonstrations
- Requires frequent UK travel and occasional international travel
- Identify and onboard new installer and retail customers, expanding Sigenergy’s network.
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract finalisation, compliant with company policies.
- Monitor and report on:
- Account performance
- Sales pipeline progress
- Market dynamics
- Customer feedback
- Drive revenue growth through:
- Expansion of existing accounts
- Increased product adoption
- Maximisation of opportunities with installers and retailers

Requirements & Skills
- 2+ years in sales or account management within solar PV, energy storage, or adjacent energy industries.
- Proven expertise in the UK installer and retail market is essential.
- Strong track record of:
- Building relationships with solar installers and energy retailers.
- Acquiring and expanding customer accounts.
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales.
- Frequent travel readiness for visits, meetings, and events (domestic and occasional international).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with fluency in English.
- Strong market intelligence and strategic planning skills to execute growth strategies.
- A technical comprehension of solar PV and energy storage products, alongside commercial awareness.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple accounts in a dynamic environment.
