About The Team
Working closely with our Directed Content and 1:1 Call Services teams, this Channel & Customer Research (CCR) team provides timely channel checks and voice-of-customer interviews that reveal real-time demand signals, competitive dynamics, and purchasing behaviour across priority industry verticals. Through structured engagement with operators, distributors, end-customers, and key industry profiles, we help investors and corporate users extract differentiated, actionable insights.
CCR delivers scalable primary research, offering a continuously updated view of company performance and industry conditions. By tapping into the perspectives of channel partners—distributors, resellers, suppliers, consultants and more—we capture insights directly from professionals involved in product and service distribution. AlphaSense’s AI Interviewer technology enables CCR to conduct and maintain hundreds of structured expert interviews while preserving consistency and analytical precision.
We cover leading verticals in global markets, ensuring our reach extends from startups to the Fortune 500.

About The Role
You’ll serve as an Associate, Channel & Customer Research, responsible for execution, relationship-building, and delivering high-quality channel insights.
You will:
- Map and refine expert networks in assigned verticals
- Source, vet, and nurture high-value channel and customer relationships
- Coordinate interviews across distributors, resellers, and industry stakeholders
- Develop sector expertise through targeted research (market trends, competitor intelligence, adoption behaviour)
- Apply proficient German speaking (C1/C2 standards) for outreach, interviews and analysis

What You’ll Do
- Expert Sourcing & Outreach: Design and execute email, phone, and LinkedIn campaigns to recruit targeted experts, negotiating fair honoraria that align with insights provided while maintaining cost control.
- Screening & Onboarding: Conduct qualification calls to confirm expertise, relevance, and compliance alignment, ensuring all sources adhere to AlphaSense and client guidelines.
- Landscape Research: Build and maintain accurate target lists of key industry participants tied to quarterly research themes.
- Interview Guide Development: Create and refine tailored interview scripts for each call type, stakeholder group and vertical to optimise relevance.
- Interview Coordination & Execution: Schedule interviews during optimal sell-side periods; troubleshoot technical issues and capture real-time expert highlights.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous data privacy standards and meticulously record all engagements in CRM and workflow systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify optimisations in messaging, sourcing strategies, and emerging research insights to enhance the team’s effectiveness.
