Channel Development Manager

Remote - UK Based

Competitive salary, commission, car & benefits

Overview

My clients specialise in gas control solutions. The company offers a comprehensive range of products designed to optimise gas usage, enhance safety and improve patient care across healthcare environments worldwide.

Product Portfolio

My clients provide a comprehensive portfolio across three specialist areas:

  • Homecare – Oxygen therapy solutions supporting patients within the community
  • Suction Oxygen Therapy (SOT) – Flowmeters, suction equipment, vacuum regulators and ward consumables.
  • Medical Central Gas Systems (MCGS) – Terminal units, manifolds, pipeline equipment and infrastructure supporting healthcare facilities.

Position Overview

The Channel Development Manager plays a pivotal role within the company. The purpose of this role is to diversify UK business by identifying new opportunities, creating new routes to market and delivering sustainable revenue growth beyond the organisation's traditional customer base.

My Clients has built a strong reputation within the acute NHS sector. The next stage of growth requires expanding into new healthcare markets, developing new commercial channels and creating sustainable revenue streams that strengthen and future-proof the UK business.

Working across the complete UK Medical portfolio, including Homecare, Suction Oxygen Therapy (SOT) and Medical Central Gas Systems (MCGS), the Channel Development Manager will identify underserved markets, develop commercial strategies and secure new customers across sectors such as private healthcare, ambulance services, military and defence, mental health providers, community healthcare, OEM partners and other emerging healthcare markets.

This is a true hunter role. The successful candidate will thrive on opening doors that have never previously been opened, challenging established purchasing behaviour and creating commercial opportunities where none currently exist. Success will be measured through market diversification, new channel creation and long-term revenue growth rather than maintaining existing business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
