Channel Manager- High Street/Discount
Are you a commercially driven National Account Manager or Junior NAM looking to join an ambitious FMCG challenger brand that's genuinely disrupting its category?
We're partnering exclusively with an exciting, fast-growing branded food business that's investing heavily in innovation, manufacturing and new product development. With ambitious growth plans and a strong track record of outperforming the wider market, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the next phase of their success.
This is a home-based role offering real autonomy, the chance to influence strategy, and the opportunity to make a visible impact within a collaborative, entrepreneurial team.
The Role:
As Channel Manager, you'll take ownership of the Discount and High Street/Travel channels, managing existing customer relationships while identifying and winning new business opportunities.
You'll develop customer growth strategies, secure new listings, increase distribution and work cross-functionally with Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver profitable growth.
Key customers include major discount, variety and travel retailers, with exciting opportunities to expand distribution into new accounts and routes to market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop existing Discount and High Street/Travel accounts.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the channel.
- Create and deliver customer growth plans aligned to business strategy.
- Build strong relationships with buying teams and key stakeholders.
- Deliver successful negotiations on ranging, promotions and commercial agreements.
- Analyse sales performance and customer data to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute customer activation plans.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting and account administration.
About You:
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting commercial opportunities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing branded FMCG customers within the food UK retail market.
- National Account or Channel Management experience.
- Exposure to Discount, High Street, Travel Retail customers.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Experience creating customer business plans and driving profitable growth.
- Confidence using sales and category data to influence decisions.
- The ability to work independently in a home-based role.
- Experience within chilled food, food-to-go or dairy would be advantageous but isn't essential.
