Job Description
Sandisk is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing strategies across UKI (UK, Ireland) and the Nordics. This is a hands-on, strategic role focused on demand generation, shopper marketing, omnichannel activation, and data-driven performance. The position drives sustainable growth and directly impacts business results.
Travel: Domestic and international travel required
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports but spans both strategy and execution across regions, collaborating with agencies, cross-functional teams, and partners in the absence of local marketing resources.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Consumer-Centric Growth
- Develop and execute integrated business and brand strategies aligned with regional growth objectives
- Translate global positioning into localized, insight-driven activation plans
- Apply segmentation, targeting, and positioning to drive market share growth
- Leverage consumer and shopper insights to identify and capitalize on opportunities
Commercial Excellence & Channel Activation
- Design and execute end-to-end channel marketing programs that drive sales and market share
- Champion a "sell-out-first" mindset with a strong focus on conversion optimization
- Deliver impactful shopper marketing initiatives (promotions, bundles, seasonal campaigns)
- Ensure execution excellence across retail and eTail environments

Retail & eCommerce Excellence (Omnichannel)
- Lead best-in-class in-store and online execution strategies
- Drive digital shelf excellence (SEO, content, conversion optimization)
- Implement Perfect Store/Perfect Shelf standards
- Collaborate with key accounts to align on joint business plans
Brand Activation & Go-To-Market
- Lead quarterly Go-To-Market (GTM) planning and execution
- Develop integrated 360° campaigns across digital, retail, and experiential channels
- Drive demand generation and brand awareness in a digital-first landscape
- Ensure alignment with Brand, Product Marketing, and Sales
Agency & Partner Management
- Manage agencies with clear, performance-driven KPIs for creative and execution excellence
Events, Trade & Experiential Marketing
- Plan and activate trade shows, partner events, and sales enablement as engaging brand experiences
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key connector between Sales, Product Marketing, Digital, PR, and Operations
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage MDF budgets and promotional investments with stricter ROI discipline
- Plan, track, and ensure all spend stays within budget
- Apply test-and-learn methodologies to continuously optimize performance
Analytics & Insights
- Track and optimize key KPIs, including:
- Sell-out performance
- Market share
- Distribution & visibility
- Digital and physical environment effectiveness

Who You Are
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset—someone who understands both consumer-driven marketing and technology sectors. Key traits:

- Proficient in analyzing business plans and market research for actionable insights

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent (technical experience substitutes for formal education)
- Minimum 8 years of business experience—marketing-related experience strongly preferred
- Preferred: Proven track record in consumer or technology brand marketing
Technical & Industry Knowledge
- Aptitude for Flash technology (advantageous)
- Expertise in marketing and business plan development
- Knowledge of market research methodologies
Tools & competencies
- Excel/VBA, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (intermediate to advanced)
- Effective online/intranet research skills
Language & Communication
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable with one-on-one and group presentations

- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Proactive problem-solving (identifies gaps before they escalate)
