Partner Acquisition & Channel Manager

Location: UK Based | Hybrid Working Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Partner Acquisition & Channel Manager to join a growing international engineering and technology business.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives on building new relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and creating scalable revenue growth through indirect sales channels.

You'll be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and developing a global network of distribution partners, specialist industry distributors, and system integrators. From initial engagement through to long-term account development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market reach and driving sustainable business growth.

The Opportunity

As Partner Acquisition & Channel Manager, you will own the full partner lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through to onboarding, commercial negotiations, and ongoing account development.

You'll work closely with technical, commercial, and leadership teams to establish long-term partnerships that deliver mutual success while supporting the company's ambitious growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and recruit new channel partners across international markets.
  • Develop and execute a structured partner acquisition strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective partners and opportunities.
  • Evaluate potential partners based on strategic fit, capability, and market reach.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and partner onboarding activities.
  • Develop business plans with partners to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Manage existing partner relationships, ensuring strong engagement and long-term success.
  • Monitor partner performance against agreed commercial targets and KPIs.
  • Support partners with product, technical, and commercial knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer opportunities and key projects.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline data, and performance reporting through CRM systems.
  • Represent the business at exhibitions, industry events, and customer meetings.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in Partner Acquisition, Channel Management, Business Development, or Strategic Account Management.
  • Track record of developing and growing revenue through indirect sales channels.
  • Experience managing commercial relationships with distributors, resellers, or strategic partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build credibility with both technical and commercial audiences.
  • Highly organised with strong pipeline and opportunity management skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently within a hybrid environment.
  • Full right to work in the UK.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within engineering, industrial, manufacturing, automation, material handling, or technical sectors.
  • Background working with distributors, system integrators, or channel partner networks.
  • Understanding of international sales and route-to-market strategies.
  • Engineering qualification or technical background.
  • Experience developing global partner networks.
