Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scheduling / programming the LG Channels FAST & AVOD service and LG O&O Channels, optimizing the positioning, placement, timing, ad breaks, and more for LG operated channels/content
  • Working with content providers to onboard the content.
  • Working with content providers to promote the content.
  • Sharing programming expertise and best practice with HQ
  • Working with LG Ads to accelerate the ad revenue across Europe
  • Develop and implement editorial strategy for LG Channels, O&O Channels and AVOD.
  • Collaborate with content providers to understand programming priorities and timelines in order to influence promotion and placement that drives increased engagement on LG Channels
  • Support the onboarding of new content partners, liaising with tech partners through the process of QA, ingestion, ad placement, launch and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Drive communication, education, data management, performance and reporting across partners
  • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies designed to maximize user engagement
  • Work with content providers and vendors to onboard content.
  • Responsible for contributing to the overall growth of the channel through the lens of content and programming, providing insight and recommendations to the team on how to better program the service to improve engagement. Build process for successful launch of new channels, reposition existing channels, scheduling licensed content, performance reporting
  • This role supports strategic KPIs of growing LG video ad inventory through increased streaming in LG Channels. It also works with LG marketing for content initiatives
  • Continuously analyse current channel lineup along with competitor lineups to prioritize channel partnerships and promotion, contributing to performance reviews with partners
  • Assist with inventory forecasts and models
  • Must have strong POV on what content works for LG Channels viewers, helping to guide how we work with content partners, studios, networks etc.
  • The Programming Manager will be responsible for understanding what's relevant in pop culture and use that info to recommend programming strategy.
  • Needs to be a highly communicative and trusted by internal LG counterparts, content providers, 3P tech partners

  • A Bachelor Degree preferred
  • English speaking country preferred and at least one other European language.
  • 7 years + experience programming or product management experience in the digital video delivery space with demonstrated success in technical operations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with digital program scheduling tools
  • May be requested to work evenings or weekends for special program live events
