Charge Nurse Opportunity in Older Adult Inpatient Service
Are you looking for a fresh challenge? An excellent opportunity has arisen, for a Charge Nurse to work within the older adult inpatient service in Muirview ward at Stratheden Hospital.
About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a dedicated Charge Nurse who has an interest in older adult acute admissions. This position will provide the successful candidate opportunities to upskill in leadership and management at ward level and allow autonomy as clinical lead to assist the Senior Charge Nurse drive forwards innovative/collaborative working, and deliver an excellent care service to people who have significant functional and cognitive decline whilst providing care and support upon discharge home or other care service.
Responsibilities
- Provide assurance to the SCN that care needs are being met as well as clinical audit and staff development/training.
- Motivated by the challenges of this environment and willing to contribute to the evolving provision and development of services.

- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical and professional competency working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Good knowledge of current legislation and drivers for delivering mental health care.
