An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Charge-hand Cleaner at Strathblane Primary School, Blanefield.

Contract Type:
- Part-time, Term-time, Permanent
- Salary: £11,870
- Hours: 18.5 per week
Location: Strathblane Primary School (Mobile Work)
Role Summary
The post involves:
- Providing supervisory and cleaning services on an 18.5-hour per week, term-time basis.
- Working hours:
- 3.15pm–7.05pm (Monday–Thursday)
- 3.15pm–6.25pm (Friday)
- Paid at Stirling Council Grade 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional cleaning service and supervise cleaning assistants.
- Order cleaning products.
- Hold school keys for cleaning provision access.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate machinery such as:
- Electric buffing machines
- Scrubber dryers
- Vacuum cleaners
- A basic working knowledge of IT, with a willingness to train for Stirling Council’s online training and HR applications.
- Experience in the cleaning industry with potential for career advancement.
