Your Future Role as a Charity Fundraiser at Cats Protection
If you're confident, optimistic, resilient, and thrive on talking to people, this could be the role for you!
About the Role
Make a difference to the lives of cats across the UK.
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity, helping thousands of cats and kittens yearly through rescue, rehoming, neutering, and education. We need passionate and motivated Fundraisers to join our team and secure the vital income that supports our work.
Working at pre-booked venues (e.g., supermarkets, shopping centres, public events), you’ll:
- Engage with the public in meaningful conversations
- Sign up donors for monthly giving
This role offers full-time or part-time opportunities and is all about genuine, face-to-face engagement with purpose.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
