Fundraiser – Outdoor Charity Role

Organisation: Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (Sustrans) Locations: Glasgow & surrounding National Cycle Network Job Type: Fundraiser (Part-time, contract via Inspired People) Salary: £12.71/hour (basic wage, paid weekly; not commission-based) + bonus scheme Hours: 25 hrs/week, 5 shifts, Mon–Sun Shift Times: 10:00–19:30 (5-hour blocks) Key Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for walking/wheeling/cycling or hospitality/customer service
  • Confident communicator & team player
  • No formal experience needed; training provided

About the Role

Are you passionate about outdoor activity? Can you engage warmly with diverse people? We’re looking for face-to-face fundraisers to spread the message of Sustrans—helping people walk, wheel, and cycle—and inspire new supporters.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate across the National Cycle Network and urban green spaces.
  • Skilled in confident, foot-heavy door-to-door conversations to raise awareness and donations.
  • Work as part of a well-trained team with supervision, coaching, and career growth potential.
