About the Role
We're looking for a proactive volunteer to help run and grow our mental health charity. You could help with social media, partnerships, GDPR compliance and volunteer coordination, depending on your experience and helping us reach more children, young people and families across the UK.
What Difference Will You Make?
Your contribution will play a key role in helping Miricyl grow into a sustainable organisation that can support many more children, young people and families affected by mental health challenges.
- By helping coordinate our operations, volunteers and partnerships, you'll enable us to work more effectively, build stronger relationships with organisations such as universities, NHS services and housing associations, and ensure we continue to operate to a high standard of governance and compliance.
- Your support will also help us increase awareness of our digital mental health platform, expand our reach and develop new opportunities for collaboration.
- As we grow, you'll help create the foundations that allow us to recruit and manage more volunteers, strengthen our partnerships and deliver greater impact.
Ultimately, your work will help more people discover trusted mental health information, self-help resources and support services when they need them most. You'll be making a meaningful contribution to improving access to mental health support while helping shape the future of an ambitious and innovative charity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are developing an innovative digital platform that brings together evidence-based mental health resources in one place, making it easier for people to find the support they need.

Your responsibilities will include, depending on your skills:
- Coordinating volunteers and projects.
